About Us
Assemblage or recycled art is all about creating a three-dimensional artistic composition using found or discarded everyday objects. This specific art form originated in the early Twentieth-Century under the influence of artists like Marcel Duchamp, Robery Rauschenberg, Man Ray and of course Pablo Picasso.
Today, the genre encompasses everything from eco-friendly artwork to cheap recycled crafts or curious trash art. Few people however, are aware of just how amazingly creative this recycled art form can be at its very best.
At NDI Gallery, we set out to "assemble" the finest examples we could find from around the world. Our 12 accomplished artists have been carefully selected based on the creativity, originality and complementarity of their compositions. They use a variety of discarded materials to create their breathtaking, high quality artwork.
NDI Gallery is a non-profit venture designed to promote public awareness of recycled assemblage art. Unlike commercial art galleries, our goal is simply to showcase this eco-friendly art to an increasingly wider audience. We consider the development of this website as "a labour of love" and take no fees or commission from any of our artists.
If you wish to commission or purchase an artwork, send us an email so we can put you in contact directly with the artist.
