Frank has been sculpting with found objects for 30 years. He has recreated an astonishing array of sea creatures by assembling a variety of reclaimed materials like ironing boards, musical instruments, tin roofs, cooking utensils, bowling pins, fruitcake tins, bicycle and automobile parts, chandeliers, sports equipment… almost anything metal. Most are life-sized and quite accurate as to detail, profile and posture.

Frank Russell has lived in Greenboro, North Carolina for over 30 years with his lovely wife Pamela and teenage sons. His work is exhibited frequently and avidly collected by corporations, common folk and celebrities throughout the known universe. He is also open to proposals for commission based work.
