Freelance illustrator, Sarah-Jane van der Westhuizen is passionate about transforming all types of trash into treasure. She uses virtually anything she can lay her hands on to create her striking sculptures and wall paintings - "bottle tops, mobile phone cases, tins, boxes, bits of machinery, old boots, broken tools, broken all sorts...". Sarah-Jane was also one of the participatory artists in last year's King Bladud's Pigs street art venture that took place in Bath. Her silver flying Pigasus was the only pig there made up of discarded objects like windscreen wipers (wings).
