Designer Brian Carlisle has literally brought life to an old copper fireplace coal bin using old percolators, tea pots, used license plates, sugar canisters, discarded flour sifters etc. the designer turned the simple bin into a water can which of course took such a decorative look that it ended up as one of the most beautiful and unique bird houses. Quirky and whimsical, this design has been created to remind all the people out there to consider recycling as a mandatory requirement to preserve the environment.

Nautilus is a piece of art created by a Virginia student using bottle caps. This is a 3 dimensional cephalopod that has been completed using wires. The design is beautiful and a stark reminder of the marine life form that has been considered to be monster for a long time. The discarded bottle caps that have been used have been weaved together and from afar it looks amazingly realistic and beautiful. The objective of the art form is clearly the promotion of recycling.

Artist Geke Wouters has brought forth a revolutionary form of art work in the form of organic, edible bowls. The artist uses vegetables like carrots, pepper, beet root and leeks along with many others to create bowls which are paper thin. The artist uses a special technique to convert the organic layers into thin walls. This involves a unique dying and forming process. When these bowls take place, they have immaculate features and looks. The artist sends a philosophical message with the vulnerability of these bowls. This is a totally different form of recycling promotion.

Recycled Alien Art is a different form of art that has been made possible by the creative folks of Luzinterruptus, who have brought in cups and saucers and have put together 260 of disposable plates and 130 disposable cups in the attendance of Temple of Debot. This is a community effort to raise awareness of recycling and also bring out one’s creative best in the artists. This art form was created in the night to look like a lot of alien spaceships.

Wonder what they do with old airline seats? They turn them into bags. Worn Again Virgin is a collection of bags form old Virgin Atlantic airline seat covers along with other reclaimed items like discarded seat belts and inner tubes of bicycle tires. This is an initiative by Virgin Atlantic Airlines to reduce the waste generated by the discarded items. As a result of this initiative, the money raised goes to a charitable fund that is managed by Anti Apathy, who are a nonprofit organizations trying to promote sustainable lifestyle.

Kaylee Carrington and Donny Phillips are artists who have taken to onus to dedicate their artwork to musicians . What better way to do it than using old vinyl records which cannot be used anymore? These artists have used their creative talent to create beautiful pictures on each of the records. The artists include Amy Whinehouse, amongst many others. Their artwork simply goes on to show the power of creativity and colors which puts across an emphatic message of recycling, unlike any other way.
