Recycled Art Blog

Seeking out the finest recycled art and artists from around the world.

French artist Bernard Pras has been working with recovered objects for 20 odd years and specialises in a form of art known as Anamorphosis. He assembles a 3-dimensional collage of everyday objects that from close up looks like a load of old junk. He then photographs the collage from a particular vantage point whereby it morphs into a clearly recognisable subject. The photograph becomes the only remaining trace of the artwork.

Here you can see a comparison of some of his works vs the original subject.
