Creative students of a school in U.S.A. have found books as a platform for learning in a totally different form. They use old books to create vivid sculptures made out of paper. Artist Sandy Smith has created one of the most exceptional designs using recycled monitors. This is called the Mauritian Sunset. The design has been created by the use of redundant computer monitors and cabinets. They have been put together and set up to glow to create what the artist deems the Mauritius sunset to be. This is one of the art forms that is charismatic in its simple form. It has grabbed attention of the art community worldwide owing to its glaring exhibit of redundant electronic items to be recycled.

Designer Yu Jordy Fu creates artwork as a gesture to protect the environment and also to capture emotions and feelings into her work. Artist Michelle Stitzlein creates sculptures and wall art using discarded materials like piano keys, broken China, license plates, rusty tin cans, bottle caps, electrical wires and all such items. For the artist, trash is something of a building block than items of wastage. Her famous moth collection depicts myriad of beautiful moth creations, each of which is as beautiful as the other. Recycled artwork can be used in architecture to create spectacular designs. Australian brand Aesop which specializes in botanical skin care products has built a retail store which has a ceiling made out of empty recycled bottles. This ceiling has got a wave form and the bottles as they glint in the light offer one of the most spectacular views in the interiors of the building. The bottles have been used as a part of innovative design and as a part of promotion of recycling and the appropriate use of natural resources.

Artist peter Root has used thousands of transformer pins to create an art form that won him a coveted award at Satchi Art Gallery Exhibition in 2006. His artwork exhibits a modern cityscape. This design is called Transformer and it is dedicated to the growth of urban life. The artist has twisted and folded the transformer pins to create immaculate structures including buildings and roads. Individually, every part looks like a transformer pin collection. Haitian artist Carlos Brutus is known for his metal art structures. These artistic forms are created using discarded oil drums, from which the artist creates some of the most stupendous art forms. His art work exhibits traditionalism and exquisite forms. Also, the use of metal from discarded oil drums also points out at the need to use alternate fuel resources and the reuse of resources available at hand. The artist started out at an early age and has since then been in the metal creation work for a long time now.

Recycled art takes a new form when it combines art, fashion and photography. Photographer Soon Tong and fashion creative director Ashburn Eng have collated a portfolio that exhibits the use brown paper, news paper, tracing paper and old magazines used as couture in high fashion. The “garments” have been created by combining aluminum foil, egg trays, bubble wrap, raffia strings and trash bags. The end result is a supreme work of art that creates a modern artifact which comprises of crinkle effects and astonishing shapes.

Hubcap creatures are made entirely from recycled materials. This is a design form that is created entirely out of vehicle hubcaps which are found discarded in dumps and roadside. The creator has found innovative ways to cut and put together all the parts to create beautiful and awe inspiring creature designs which will mark a special area in your house. All that you can do is to throw them away. Miguel Rivera, a system administrator is one of those person who is closely associated with such electronic components. Artist Chris Desilva is one of the foremost creators of Trash Arrangement. This is an art form which is more of assemblage than creation. The artist puts together discarded elements and one easily sees artwork in the collection. His knack of picking up seemingly unrelated objects and aligning them together to form something ethereal and surreal is legendary. British artist Nick Gentry has used floppy disks to create amazingly vivid portraits depicting people and emotions. His paintings are essentially collages made out of discarded floppy disks. He is able to create an idea and put it together in his work in one of the most detailed artwork using floppy disks. Italian artist Franco Recchia creates “mixed media” sculptures using parts of discarded electronic items. His art work focuses on urban landscape and similar themes. Designer Erika Iris Simmons uses discarded audio and video tapes to create some of the most immaculate creations in recycled art genre. She used the actual magnetic tape in these cassettes to form designs and portraits which are innovative, beautiful and very life like. Her art is surreal and one of its kind. Her design collection is called Ghost in the Machine which comprises of some very impressive art forms. Most of all, she has exhibited one of the finest uses of magnetic tapes.

Do not throw away your train tickets. Japanese artists have made a collage of these tickets featuring the famous Japanese cartoon creation Astro Boy. This exhibit is 10 feet long and 7 feet wide. It has been made using 138,000 discarded metro tickets. The work depicts other characters of the Astro Boy storyline including Uran, Professor Ochanomizu and Mr. Mustachio. These characters are accompanied by the new Fukutoshin train and the collage marks the creation of new Fokotushin subway line in Tokyo Metro.
