In March 2007, Rome was a center of attention for all different reasons. The city had statues all around, a total of 1000 in number. The bit that was so special about these statues was the fact that they were all made of garbage. These statues were displayed to garner solidarity for the need to recycling. The city is known for its culture and architecture. This display was to show to the world the need to inculcate the habit of recycling as a part of our lives.
