We're thrilled to welcome Julien Garcia as our latest NDi Gallery artist. He's the first of a new batch of recycled artists that we'll be bringing online over the next few weeks. Julien was born in Toulouse, France in 1976 and presently makes his home in the beautiful city of Chantilly, outside of Paris.
His inspiration comes mainly from nature and in particular the animal kingdom. Through his sculptures, Julien attempts to awaken our senses to the important task of preserving nature and the environment for generations to come. He recognizes the wasteful attitude of our society and addresses this through his astonishing work. Julien's contribution to this effort is his choice of artistic medium, namely " plastic mosaic tiles " fashioned entirely from everyday objects. This approach also lends itself to the individuality of each creation, totally unique in its concept and execution, skillfully crafted in a way which cannot be reproduced. Thus he considers himself engaged in the wave of a new realism.
Julien's art works are exhibited in galleries throughout Europe, the United States, and China. More of his work can also be seen on his website.
